The first step is to find and verify your Business Profile on Google. Google has all the detailed steps that explain how to search for your business. On this page, Google even has a verification status tool that is useful if you want to check if your claim was successful. Note, Google may send you a physical card with a code to verify your address and search for your business.

Once you’ve claimed your business, you can start managing your Google Profile using the console dashboard. Click the Manage Now button. You will see a new section above the “Only visible to you” label that allows you to edit your Profile data.

You can edit your business description, business address, name, contact information, and more in the Edit Profile section. If you want to add images, click the Add Image section. We recommend that you spend some time clicking through each section to familiarize yourself with the skills.

Or you can use the Google Maps app and tap your profile picture and select Your Business Profile.

How To Update Your Google Business Profile With API
